The epilog laser engraver works just like a printer, you import your digital image.
You adjust the size and settings of the graphic for the laser engraving and then send it to the laser engraver.
Laser engraving machines can laser etch plaques, clocks, wood, crystal, glass and much more.
Laser engravers can engrave in very fine detail up to 1200 dots per inch. Results from the laser engravings turn out fantastic on glass, crystal, anodized metals, brass, wood, acrylic, plastics etc.
The fine detail of the laser engraving is achieved by a combination of electronics and the epilogs motion control system.
A few tips to remember when sending in graphics:
(1) If you send us an image that is low quality, the laser will not be able to engrave
so well as is possible.
(2) The best laser engraving results are gained from images that are 300 DPI or above.
(3) Images from websites can be as low as 72 DPI and really will not engrave well.
(4) If you are looking for a graphic to be engraved on a "plaque, & original image is only 2" across, we have to enlarge the image, and it probably won't engrave well, enlarging pixels reduces image quality
